Let me introduce myself

Hi, my name is Wouter Castendijk and I live in The Netherlands. In a Small City, Yes City, called Naarden , approx. 15 miles SE of Amsterdam.

I am a 50 years old sales person with a life long interest in technique in general. I use to own a 51' sailing boat and did a lot of blue water sailing. (boat = maintenance). And some diving in: Bali, Seychelles, Cape Verdian Islands, Caribbean, Mediterranean and North Sea.

My other hobby is vintage cars. Had: Rover 75, Lancia GTE Zagato, Mini 1275 GT, Volvo sport 1800, MGB GT and a TVR Tuscan V8. I still have a Bentley T1 and drive a Subaru Forester, and a Yamaha 750 Virago.

In the early 70ties I traveled from Belgium to the UK with . . . . . .  a hovercraft. It was the "Swift" a mark 1  BHC SRN 4.

Well all Hovernuts know what that means, HOOKED FOR LIFE.

That's why I started to build one myself after 30 years.

It's forbidden by law to fly a hovercraft in the Netherlands, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there!

Enjoy the site !

Greetings Wouter
